Hey guys-  In my tarpon research, I have come across these as bread and butter lures in Tampa Bay in the 1960s.  Can anybody share a photo or two?  I assume these are all jigs, but I am not sure.

Also mentioned Capt. Action.  I have a #7 and #10.  Did the company make anything other than spoons?

Thanks

Matt

YES MATT THEY MADE THAT SPOON IN 10 SIZES INCLUDING THE JACK KNIFE AND THE ONLY DIFFERANCE WAS HOOK SIZE AND THE TAIL OF THE SPOON TAIL WAS BENT

Thanks Scott.  Looks like about a 5/0 or 6/0 on the largest Super Dude?  I will start looking for them.  How about a "Roysler?"  Strike a cord with you?

I am assuming a Nylure is just an old version of the Nylure jigs sold today.

Matt.Ralph Sanford bought the Nylure in 1975 from Ralph Downing  and the Jigs were made in 7 sizes from 1/16 Oz to1 Oz an looks like a Super Dude Lure. The only difference I can see is that the Eye was black with a red center and a solid silver Jig. The Barracuda I believe is hair and the material for the tail on the Nylure is Nylon. Hope this helps I will look to see what I have as far as duplicates and let me know if you need any of these items.
